FRANKLIN - The nationwide loss of automotive-related jobs is hitting Franklin, too. Come next year, 117 people currently employed at the Worthington Precision Metals, Inc. auto parts plant on Beasley Drive will lose their jobs when the operation shuts down January 12, officials said.
